River Downs race track is located on the banks of the Ohio river only minutes from downtown Cincinnati.
River Downs race track opened in 1925 and became excitement Cincinnati’s new showcase of thoroughbred racing. The legendary Seabiscuit made two appearances here in 1936.

River Downs race track is a one mile, oval. It feature two chutes: Three-quarters and one and one-quarter miles. The turf course is 7 furlongs. Live racing is held at the track from the beginning of April until Labor Day weekend. Live racing is hosted by the Regular Guy, who is a big celebrity in Cincinnati.
The track hosts the Bud Select Cradle Stakes grew to become the richest race for 2-year-olds in the state.
