
Fairmount Park
Fairmount Park is a horse racing track in Collinsville, Illinois, a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri.
The track hosts Thoroughbred flat racing. It is one of five horseracing venues active in Illinois, and the only one outside the Chicago, Illinois metro area. Fairmount Park opened in 1925. Since the 1920’s the track has hosted the Fairmount Derby, which is considered one of the premier races in the country.

Fairmount Park has a one-mile oval combination for thoroughbred racing. There are also two chutes for six furlong and 1 1/4 mile races. Race meets are held during the months of April to October – Tuesday, Friday to Sunday
