Calder Race Course is located in Miami Gardens, Florida covering 220 acres and is possibly on of the busiest tracks in North America.
The track holds regular marquee including the Summit of Speed in July, the Festival of the Sun in October and the new Turf Million which consists of four stakes races on a grass track: the Calder Derby, the Bob Umphrey Turf Sprint Handicap, the Calder Oaks and the Mairzy Doates Handicap

Many of today’s most famous jockey’s have started their careers at Calder Race Course mainly due to its location in Florida providing easy access for talented jockeys from Latin America and the Caribbean.
Calder Race Course consists of a one-mile dirt oval and a seven- furlong turf course.
